In addition, we have established a privacy policy for the following elements and are complying with it. This Privacy Policy may be changed when there is a change in laws related to personal information or for reasons such as policy changes. Users are requested to check frequently when visiting.

When a user leaves a comment, we also collect the material in the comment form, the user’s IP address and browser user agent string that can help us detect spam. Anonymized strings (also called hashes) generated from emails may be provided to the Gravatar service. Just to make sure you’re using it. Please check the privacy policy of the Gravatar service. After the comment is approved, your profile picture will be visible in the comment context as public.

When you upload an image, the image is uploaded with embedded location data (EXIF GPS). Others may download and extract location data from your images.

By leaving a comment, you can choose to save your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience, so you don’t need to fill in any details when leaving another comment. These cookies remain for the last year.

When you visit the login page, your browser will create a temporary cookie to confirm that it accepts cookies. These cookies do not contain personal information and are canceled when you close your browser.

When you log in, we also set a cookie that stores your login information and saves your screen display choices. Login cookies are the last two days, and the screen options are the last one year. If you select โ€œRemember meโ€, you will be logged in for 2 weeks. When you log out of your account, we will remove your login cookies.

When you edit or publish a post, we may place an additional cookie on your browser. This cookie contains no personal information and simply points to the post ID of the post you just edited.

Embedded content

Articles may also contain embedded content (eg videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves the same as if a user visited that other website.

If you have signed in with an account, we may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interactions with the embedded content, including tracking that interacts with the embedded content.

Provision of Information to Third Parties

We do not provide your personal information to others or other companies or institutions. However, there are exceptions:

  • When there is a request from the relevant agency for the purpose of investigation in accordance with the relevant laws
  • When providing to advertisers, partners, or research organizations in a form that cannot identify specific individuals for statistical preparation, academic research, or market research
  • When there is a request in accordance with the procedures stipulated in other related laws

Even when personal information is provided according to the above, we will do our best not to provide information indiscriminately against the original purpose of collection and use.

Period of retention and use of personal information and destruction

For registered users, we also store the personal information you provide in your user profile. All users can view, edit or delete their personal information at any time (usernames cannot be changed). Administrators can also view and edit that information.
